So I already applied to BC early action, but now I think I want to change it to regular decision.
I have a 3.85w gpa with a 31 act. I have a downward trend, with a 3.75 junior year. I applied early because I thought I would benefit, but I feel like I'll just get deferred anyway. The reason I want to change to rd is because I want my senior year grades to be included. I'm taking 3 honors and 3 ap, and will have a 4.1 to 4.3 gpa first quarter or semester. Should I switch, or just stay ea? Will my senior grades help that much?
Thanks for any suggestions.

for you, the worst case is you get deferred and then they see your senior grades anyway. dont fret about it

Any other ideas? I’m applying to villanova too, should I do ea or rd?

BC’s EA applicant pool is pretty competitive, because many of these applicants are vying for one of the extremely limited number of scholarships that are offered to their EA applicants. There’s no guarantee that you will get deferred if you apply EA, although you look like a solid applicant stats-wise. Without seeing the other components of your application (Intended major, ECs, leadership, CS, awards) it’s hard to get a better overall picture. You might want to provide more information so we can see if your downward trend might hurt you in the EA round…

Okay, so in biology club, students against drunk driving, freshman baseball, varsity golf, I’m self employed(yard work, lawn mowing), have done community service( only like 50hrs), was in a club that helped prevent future pollution to nearby lake, and finally, I was in a thing called medina at Yale university that taught kids about the middle east.

Other stats:
Top 20 percent
Subject tests: Bio e and m 690, Spanish 660, math 1 640
Want to major in biology
5 on AP Bio test
ACT breakdown: 31 C 30 M 30 E
31 R 33 S
I also believe that my essay is quite good.
Thanks again.
