Can you chance me? I felt like I had a pretty good chance until I posted looking for safety schools and was told I may not get in at all because I wasn’t too impressive.

Good ACT score, good demographic for BC, good geography. I would say above average chance.

What scale is your GPA? Will you try out for the marching band?

@TurnerT The scale is on 4. This is my weighted GPA. And not in college. It was more of an interest to pursue during highschool.

I think your chances are better than average. Does BC require all tests be submitted or can you just send the ACT.

I wouldn’t put NYLF on your application; colleges know that it’s pretty exclusive because it’s pricey. Set my parents back 3k and not everyone can shell out that kind of money. You don’t want to sound elitist.

@anxiousenior1 I only put it because I want colleges to see i am interested and actively pursue medicine. Is it really that bad?

I’m just saying what my counselor told me. Don’t take my word for it though if you really want to put it! Just throwing the thought out there.

I think you’ll get in.

You have a very good shot, especially with your demographic.

might add Holy CROSS-very good pre-med program. HC has beautiful campus 1 hour from Boston and offers good financial aid.

You have amazing stats. With your geography, test scores, and race (no offense colleges look at that alot sometimes) you have an excellent chance at getting in.

Please change me back!
