Boston U students: do you like it?

I'm a sophomore, and I have quite mixed feelings about the University. On the one hand, I believe the education one can receive here is extraordinary. I consider myself to be extremely critical in my assesements of people in pedagogical positions, but I have found very few shortcomings in the professors I have here encountered. Some professors go so far as to provide full-page, typed, and lettered critiques of your papers. In short, I think the academics are extremely strong, as one might expect from a large research university. On the other hand, the place is not really all that fun. I am not exactly a party-animal, but I find the place to be pretty lackluster in terms of entertainment, even on the weekends. The school is also extremely large, and often impersonal. I personally, often feel like I’m merely a number – especially in regard to housing. I’ve had really crappy luck, only this year making my way up to the bottom-of-the-barrel freshman housing.
