Boston U. Terrier Hockey

This is directed toward current students because I do not expect most incoming freshman to be immediately familiar with the topic. Though if you have some input, feel free to share. Who do we expect to start in goal next season now that Curry has graduated? And what do you think we can improve on as a team looking back on last season? Personally, I think the offense needs to get going a little more and alot of those ties would have been victories. Anyone have any thoughts on BU hockey next year?

Ok, guess there aren't too many big time fans on the site. Don't worry, you'll all be part of the Dog Pound soon enough. Then BU hockey will be your new god and religion :)

Are you kidding, my son is REALLY pumped about BU hockey! How hard is it to get tix to the games? How much are they? If he wanted to invite his big brother to a game, can he buy an additional ticket at BU student prices for him too?

(And btw, yes DEVILS RULE! -- well, maybe not this year, but next year in the new Newark arena....)

Haha yes! Maybe next year! Ok about the BU games, they are free to all students but it is not easy to get tickets. Usually what happens is, every other Monday, tickets will go on sale for the next 2 weekends. So whoever wants tickets needs to go to Agganis early on that Monday morning with their ID and that person is given tix to both games over the next 2 weekends. WHat I normally did was get there around 830 to beat the line and get good seats. I would take all my friend's ID's to get them tickets right next to me as well. As for brothers and sisters, the regular ticket price of 25 or so is applied I believe. But heres a great way around it. Have the student at BU borrow an ID from a friend who doesn't actually want to go. Now your son has 2 tix, one of which he can give to his brother. Easy as that. Btw, if you want the BU BC tix at Agannis, most people camp out the night before to get a spot in line. Hockey at BU is amazing and brings such a great sense of community and pride. Nothing better than a sea of red jerseys screaing for our team, all proud to be BU Terriers!

What we can improve???

Pretty obvious answer came right across my mind is: ERIC GRYBA

he needs to stop fouling like a Fouling God

Can sasquatch take over in goal?

Yeah Gryba did kill us with all his penalties. He likes to play hard but he is young and doesn't have the discipline to understand the line between playing hard and playing a little dirty. I'm sure that will come with age. Though it was kind of funny, at the games, we would joke that it was Gryba getting called for a penalty even if he was chilling on the bench. Thats how good he is at getting called for penalties lol

They'll probably start Gillespie next year, no?

Oh and Go Terriers!!!! I'm so pumped for college hockey.

Yeah I guess it is his time to take the net again. Very pumped also btw. Just ordered a white jersey, the one with the red stripe on the shoulder and the tie on the collar. I really like that jersey because of the retro feel. I have one of the regular red ones already.

theyre gunna start bennett.

Really? Gillespie's a senior though, right?

Yeah he is. Has barely played 5 minutes total since the Beanpot 2 years ago.
