Hi guys, I am deciding between these two universities, Bing’s and Boston U’s CAS
I’m planning on going into dentistry ,but for now my major is undeclared

The benefit of going to binghamton is that it is closer to home (3 hours drive) and also my brother goes there. It will be more convenient for my family and for me. Also, freshmen are not suppose to have a car at bing but I will have access to my brother’s car because he will be a junior. I love the environment in Bing and the campus, and financially it will be easier for me in terms of loans in the future. Bing has a campus and it’s not a bad school!

The benefits of going to Boston U is that I received a lot of aid and scholarships, almost covering the price tag of the school with just couple thousand dollars short. However, in comparison, Bing is still about 5000 cheaper a year. Another benefit of Boston U is that it has a dentistry program and it is also in Boston. Living in a big city when your 18 is something many people can’t experience. However Boston is more inconvenient for my family and financially heavier on my family as compare to Binghamton SUNY

So now I’m stuck on which school I should go to…any advice?

to me it sounds like BU is a good opportunity for you while Bing is more of a safe option. Being in a big city at a widely reclaimed school may open up more doors and immediate opportunities for you. Bing will provide you with a good education as well, but you may not be able to find internship opportunities or network off campus as much. BU is the chance to change up your atmosphere for college. At Bing most of the students come from the same area while at BU youll meet people from all over. However, if money is a big issue it must be taken into consideration. Talk to your parents about it.

BU having a dental school means next to nothing. Pre-med grades/GMATs are about all that matters. 5K a year cheaper a year is the difference between a part time school year job and more study time. Go with Binghamton

For BU I’ll graduate with $54000 in debt, while for Bing, I’ll graduate with about $38000 in debt. So I don’t really know what to do. I’m going to the open house for BU in April, and after that i’ll make my final decision. This is one of the hardest decision i have to make in my life lol
