If you aren’t granted admission to the BU accelerated program, are you still considered for admission to BU as a regular undergraduate? I thought that this was the case, but I was not granted admission to BU (I applied for the accelerated program). I have a 2300+ SAT score and a 4.8 GPA, so I am wondering if this is the case? (I understand that admissions are more than numbers, and I do participate in many extracurricular activities as well.) Any help or input regarding the admissions decision would be greatly appreciated. 
That’s usually the case. If you are rejected from the combined med program, you are still considered for the normal undergraduate program. Of course if you are rejected from the undergraduate program to begin with, then that pretty much answers your question about the combined program. Weird that you’d get rejected from the undergrad program with those stellar stats though.
@heytherehey I am sorry to hear. Suggest still to call BU admissions office and explain to them that you would like to be considered. You are not going to loose anything by calling. I have seen you in the BS/MD thread. Recently I made a post 2890 in the link below, to warn students since BU clearly states in their web site your application is considered only for that program UNLESS you call and ask them to change the program after they announce BS/MD notification.
My D did call them after she was rejected pre-interview for their BS/MD program and she got the UG admission.

@heytherehey sorry to hear about the combined program but with your stats, you shouldn’t have any problems getting into their undergrad program, but as @GoldenRock mentioned, you do have to notify them separately. Hope it all works out!
@GoldenRock do you know when your D got notification about a decision for the accelerated med program?
I just called BU and they said that I can only be considered for the Med program and only the med program.

But make sure to call BU if you are particular about UG admission (in case if you are rejected for BS/MD). GL
