You won’t know the admissions data for 2015 until summer at the earliest. I wouldn’t expect it to be much different from the numbers posted in the article, which are very similar to NU’s stats. NU has been getting more selective every year, but so has BU, albeit at a slower rate. Nevertheless, you won’t see big changes year over year.
The reason BU had a big change in 1 year is that they got rid of their requirement for SAT II tests.
NU was way lower in selectivity jsut 4 years ago, the only way they could go was up. Now they are ONLY numbers driven trying to get their stats up. I was not impressed with their students when visiting, like smart robots…
Smart robots with jobs!
@tomsrofboston All robots get jobs, stuck in cubes heads down in computers…
But robots don’t suffer from test anxiety.
As mentioned above, this is only the data for admitted students. The information used in rankings are students who also elect to go to BU. This eliminates a lot of the people who got into BU, but decided to go somewhere else. That number will come out in the summer.
