Decent to good ECâs,
Help appreciated!!!
D22 got accepted to CGS (which she doesnât want to do). So I looked at her BU application in Common App and it says:
School or College: College of Arts & Sciences (CAS)
Major: Psychology
College of General Studies: Yes
So was there an option for CGS that she checked off âyesâ to? She didnât know what it was at the time, but that obviously doesnât matter at this point. I was just curious if this means she actually applied to CAS or mistakenly applied directly to CGS? Or was it just that she said âyesâ to the CGS option?
It just means that she said yes to it as an option.
Thank you for the clarification!

ours did not and we were ED1 deferred. I am a little shocked they didnât offer her CGS. She checked all the boxes and sent 2 letters of continued interest and two extra letters of recommendation. Plus we are from a small private school with a good relationship with them.
Congratulations to all who were accepted!! Sadly rejected, but have a lot of really good other options.
Does anyone know if all merit scholarships have already been awarded? Any chance of folks on the waiting list to get any merit aid at all? If anyone has any information, please do share.
Anyone have any insight on the CGS program? Deciding between it and NU-in
DS offered guaranteed transfer 2023. Will there be any merit scholarship for transfer and when will we get to know.
Daughter accepted into school of Communications.

Just curious, for all that were accepted - did anyone have less than 5 APs?
My DD has 5 including the 3 she is taking this year (Stats, Envi Sci, Psych), but only had 2 (Chem & Lang) through junior year.
