Boston University and need base aid FASA

Boston University has need-aware merit-based aid. If you are great academically and not so great financially, you will get the most money. I imagine that students that are in demand (possibly URMs? I’m not sure if Boston is at a deficient) also get optimal financial aid. I would check out this chart to see where you land.

Click the link for “Probability of Receiving University Scholarships and Need-Based Grants” to find the matrix. For example, I am first column, first row, so my prospects are pretty good. Boston’s financial aid policies are surprisingly transparent, so make sure you take a look around that website.
