@vonryan I see your point, however I don’t think that the amount of people who got EDI and couldn’t accept it due to finances will be so significant and will only leave room for a small amount of people to get in. I did see on another post someone suggest that they will defer desirable candidates and then accept them RD because it will help their yield. I don’t see why they would do this because essentially they tell you that applying ED raises your chances to get in but the stats show that 13% will get accepted from EDII and if you applied RD you would have had a 32% chance. It’s just insane.
Does anyone know if we will get an email soon about decisions? Will we know on the day for example if they come out Monday by just refreshing the applicant link or will they tell us?
@Vonryan - you sign a legally binding contract when you apply anywhere ED, in it you agree that if you are offered ED, you WILL accept. There are occasionally exceptions made for financial reasons, but be prepared to have other colleges reject you when they find out.
