Boston University Decisions

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew when Boston University notifies students regarding decisions for the incoming class of BFA theatre majors. According to their website they are auditioning through the end of February, but unless I have misread (which may well be the case) a few posts on here, it seems that some students have already been notified of acceptances. I have searched their website, but have only been able to find that the university itself sends decisions in late March. I know that for many theatre programs, however, the decision process functions differently from that of the university. If anyone has any information, please reply! I'm sure you can understand how stressed all of us students are right around now.

Thanks!

BU has ED (early decision) to which you have to apply specifically and audition in the fall. Otherwise, notifications are in March, during the regular period of admissions decisions.

I think the people who have already been accepted were early decision. My info is that they release all of the regular decisions at one time in late March.

While visiting BU, we were told they offered three students admission through ED.

All three ED acceptances went to kids from this summer’s BUSTI program.
