Hello! I’m going to BU in the class of 2021 and I was looking at the housing rates I noticed that they list doubles, triples, and quads as the same price, but then it says standard minimum rate. So does this mean they all cost the same? I’ve just never seen a school price dorms this way.
Thanks!
have you found out why this is?
@nicole1308 yup! The housing office told me that all dormitory style doubles, triples, and quads are the same standard minimum rate that’s listed online, which seems a little weird to me as at other universities triples and quads are less expensive, but oh well!
Thats so weird right! Do they then randomly assign people to the larger rooms? I’m so worried now hahaha thought one roommate was enough!
@nicole1308 you do get randomly assigned to larger rooms! it probably won’t happen to you but don’t be too surprised if it does
Thats awful haha. What if you choose your roommate before hand? Also, are you going to BU?
@nicole1308 I know of people who have picked their roommate and got put with another random person, it happens sometimes. But yes! I am a sophomore at BU
@nicole1308 big rooms aren’t that bad! A know a lot of people that were put in quads and they are totally fine with it.
yeah they aren’t horrible!
Can the beds in Warren towers be lofted? looks like these rooms have limited storage options.
Curious about the suites at Kilachand (Shelton), which are described as used for 4 and even 5 people. We’ll hopefully see in a month at Open House, but wondering how comfortable and configurable a 5 room suite can be.
