Boston University EARLY DECISION Class of 2021 Thread

@hycrey your application and stats are actually solid. If I had your stats I’d be so happy and stress free :))

@plshelpme who’s your admissions representative? mine was Quincy Wright or something I think

@gg52264 in past years they’ve always released the friday before the 15th but since this year’s was too early, they’re likely releasing it on monday

it’s always been the 11th or 12th

@redsox99 thanks! I’m sure everyone here has a good shot at getting in, fingers crossed everyone!

same, at least that’s who it says covers northern california. i hope he’s nice lol @hycrey

@plshelpme11 you have a bit higher gpa and my math was higher (i took the new sat so thats the only score i compared)

@hycrey mine’s Zoe Carter. She seems chill

are those the people who actually review our apps?

I had some ideas in terms of the message on the application status. Maybe it differs by the school you applied to?

i found quincy wright on twitter hahah

@plshelpme11 Yes. I’m pretty sure they’re the first ones to receive the applications and they do the first round of selection which is weeding out the people they don’t find qualified academically and then bring the good ones to the table for the whole team to make the decision. (Anyone correct me if I’m wrong)

@plshelpme11 he actually went to our school, he seemed pretty chill

@sagpcqsb i don’t think the speaker will help you but legacy will. I am also legacy

@sagpcqsb I also have a ton of legacy as well. It definitely helps. Did you mention how your grandparent was an honorary mention and guest speaker? As long as your stats are within the range of admitted students or close to it then legacy will help a lot, especially with BU because they consider it

:)>-

ugh i need to study but i just cant cuz i’m stressed

are there any bu students on here who could answer a question about financial aid?

hey guys!
I just joined this thread and I’m totally freaking out.
I’m an international student living in Chile.
I applied to the School of Engineering ED…
My ACT is not that high since english is not m first language but my IB grades are pretty good.
Is anybody else scared? hahah
Are we finding out tomorrow for sure??

Good luck everybody!
