If you’re applying to BU for Fall 2017, post your stats here!!!
Hi I’m applying for the Fall semester for the CGS program with a 3.6 GPA, I honestly don’t know if this gpa is enough but im going to try!
changing that GPA to 3.77 since my professor changed my grade and put it into the final grade report.
Major: Business Administration
Current College/University: CCC
GPA: 4.00
College ECs: Internship with school’s accounting dept. Honors Program. Trilingual. Limited ECs unfortunately.
Highschool ECs: Band Chess Club President etcetc (I have more but I think they may be irrelevant?)
I have will completed 64 semesters by this spring in three semesters+summer school. I took 19-20 units every semester so I didnt have time for ECs and wouldnt know what to do actually.
SAT Scores: 1900.
I know I have very poor SAT scores. Would it be too late to retake it?
Chance me maybe? :o
-Transferring to the CAS as a first semester sophomore for a degree in Communication Studies (though I’m looking into Sociology as well)
-Currently hold a 3.8 GPA unweighted
-Enrolled in my college’s honors program and enrolled in several honors courses, was enrolled in several AP courses throughout HS as well
-EC’s in high school were sporadic but reflect my interests (debate team/Youth and Government, Robotics, House of Delegates under the Student Council), and EC’s in college are somewhat seldom due to my CC being a very small campus, but volunteer work is included and hopefully will be partaking in the production of a research framework with another professor this semester
-Personal statement is fairly strong according to some of my professors
I’m incredibly nervous, this has been my first choice school for years–I was really apprehensive to apply due to the toll family issues took on my GPA in my senior year, but I’m hoping things work out well and I’m able to ensue the plight for my future at BU! I wish everyone else the best of luck and hope we’re all accepted!!
@ndgogo there’s actually a wide range of flexibility for admission, taking into account you have a strong application all together, but a 3.77 should be just fine!
@babybear232 Your SAT score is actually right around the average for admitted students, but once you graduate from high school I don’t think you’re able to retake the SATs or ACTs. Considering how strong your application seems to be, it seems you have a very high chance of being accepted!
I’m applying to BU for the Fall 2017 semester as BU is my dream school. I didn’t apply during my senior year because of my SAT score (I had an 1840) and family issues. I’m filling out the application as we speak, but I’m very anxious. I currently have a 3.862 gpa at my college and I’m applying for the CAS program as well (I’d like to pursue the psychology and philosophy joint major). In high school I took a few honors/AP courses and I was also the captain of my school’s academic decathlon team. Do you think I have a fair chance?
Does anyone know how much do they consider my high school gpa? It would have been 2 years since I graduated but I only have 15 credits right now since I took a gap year.

Does anyone else’s application credential status still say your transcripts, etc. haven’t been received? I know my stuff should be there but online it says they are not.
My online portal says that they haven’t received my college transcript even though it was sent over a month ago and my current university told me that BU had received it
It doesn’t matter what your current college says, BU says they didn’t receive it. Call BU. If they don’t have it resend it.
I just realized I never posted my stats even though I made this thread
Does anyone know whether BU’s admission decisions is issued on a rolling basis? And when does decision is expected to be issued? The waiting game is killing me slowly.
Also, anyone else received the email requesting all syllabi for courses?
