@gabbyademi could you post your stats? Congrats!
@LinkandZelda oh really??? They asked you to send that??? Mine did not ask to send that!!! I never sent my midterm report!!! Do you think that is bad? I wonder why they asked you and not me? What does it say for you on applicant link? I hope we did not get rejected
@xotransferox wow congrats… I still have not found out maybe I am rejected… Where do you go undergrad?
Hi everybody. Congrats to those who have been accepted. Just a reminder that last year, some had their response end of April, beginning of May. Just to make the wait more soft or smooth, ha !
@financeguyjames Don’t assume you’re rejected! People didn’t hear back until as late as May and June last year so you can still be accepted. I go to UMass Amherst right now
@catlalib thanks for the reassurance. i hope i am not rejected. Do you know why some find out earlier and some do find out later? Don’t most find out early right away compared to not? Thanks
@transfer1017 same with me, one is a document that I did some stupid summer class at and it says they are missing it. Do you think thats why we havent heard? Did you submit a midterm report? Did it ask you too? I did not submit midterm report and they did not ask me
@financeguyjames I really don’t know why some know early than others. Some think it is linked to the date you finished your application with all the credentials. But some say it is random. Perhaps it’s a little bit of all of that. I was also inclined to think that they were sending their decision to the one they wanted first, but it is not really true because some had no scholarship even if they received their acceptance notification on Monday. If BU really want you, they give scholarship. We shouldn’t imagine too much. We could be prepared for the worst, but we shouldn’t make conclusion. I remember when my daughter was wailisted for Emerson. When she was accepted, we thought that she wouldn’t have any FA because she was coming from the WL. And it was false, she had more than 50%. I would say, stay concentrated on your finals, keep cool.
I submitted my application early February and it was complete mid February. However, one day before decision was suppose to release, my applicant link updated to ask for midterm grades… I sent it in but it still hasn’t updated yet.
@catlalib thank you! It so so stressfull and hard and sad to concentrate on current school work when you hate it so much and want to transfer I really want to get into BU it is my top choice
@financeguyjames On my applicant link it says “Our records currently indicate that the following credentials are still required to complete your application for admission : Transfer Mid-Term Grades”… It literally popped up the day before they released decisions. Before that it was complete. I suggest you start gathering the midterm report in case they ask so you dont have any delays.
@financeguyjames I think that’s why we haven’t heard. It says that the application is incomplete without it, they never asked me for midterm grades either. I called them about this issue yesterday and they fixed it and said it would process in about two days…hoping to hear tomorrow because I have to put down a deposit at my current school by Friday
Accepted to arts and sciences… 3.2 GPA and 2200 SAT
@kabh398 Did you just hear back right now or earlier today?
I heard back yesterday
Did anyone hear today!?
For what it’s worth, I believe the transfer acceptance rate for this class was ~ less than 20%.
Yes someone did hear today around 11am and they got accepted. Still haven’t heard anything myself and I had no outstanding documents.
