Boston University-Fall 2019- Transfer

@amberly99 In a very similar position right now… Not sure what to do

Haven’t gotten a decision yet. I think I’m gonna have to wait until Monday :confused:

Just got accepted!

@kaw123 june 1

@amberly99 honestly, id try my best and keep going. They’d take a C as long as your other grades are better. Dropping the class just won’t look good

on your apps did u guys put anything in achievements or experiences?

for those who have been accepted what have been, you’re gpas?

Anyone still waiting for the decision?

Yep… @mailbu

@Kaw213 My decision letter said they were due by June 1st

They stopped taking applications last week don’t worry if you havent gotten in

I haven’t heard yet. At this point I don’t think I am going to get in, but I would at least like a decision. I applied February 27th. Does anyone know when decisions stop coming?

If u applied later they probably have not looked at youre aplication they just stoped taking apps last week youre fine

@TTTransfer10 I put a lot of stuff for the achievement and experiences sections and as for gpa, my hs gpa was kinda bad lol but my college gpa was a 3.9

@rbfall2019 I put it on my resume and I had a decent amout like 5-6 clubs 2 jobs and a few awards and they said it was fine and I have a 4.0 first semester and a 4.0 mid term im pretty sure im getting in
also im from the south and have a low efc and I think my hs gpa was 3.4-3.5

Anyone still waiting?

@snickerdoodle123 I am

@snickerdoodle me as well. Of those of you still waiting were you asked for your midterm grades?

@beanster765 Nope, didn’t get asked for midterm grades.

Hey guys, so I was accepted into CAS a few weeks ago and was wondering if anyone knows the chances of them rescinding my admission?

I got in as a freshmen with a 4.0 first semester, but now the second semester is looking a bit rough

I’m a CS major and currently taking the following courses:

Intro to CS II - projected worst-case scenario grade, B(assuming I get a 0 on all the assignments I have left, which is worth 17.5% of my overall average), an A in the class is still possible

Discrete Math - projected grade is A- but can be an A if I ace the final with anything above a 90

Intro to linear algebra - My biggest worry is this class, looking like a B- or perhaps C+ worst case

Elective Course - projected grade is A if I can get anything above a 66% on the final paper

Do u guys think I’m over worrying for nothing? These are worst case scenarios of course but I got in with a 4.0 and got decent aid so I am worried about the drop in grades, I can still get As in all my classes except linear algebra and I’m busting my ass every day this week and next week(finals) but I’m just used to over worrying. Can anyone chance me?
