Boston University-Fall 2019- Transfer

I got an email but my portal is supposed to change next week

Anyone know if your portal can change throughout the weekend?

My portal changed to 2 paragraphs

mine is still two paragraph. I am dying… I want to hear back lol

oppss i meant three

Portal changed to two paragraphs they now state:

"We have received your application to the College of Arts & Sciences for the September 2019 semester. If you would like to change the college or school of application, or if you would like to discuss your application, please call BU Admissions at 617-353-2300 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time to speak with an admissions staff member.

Our records indicate that your application for admission is complete. Admission decisions for September 2019 will be posted starting in April."

Do you think they’re doing it by school? Because I applied for CAS and I just got the 2 paragraphs

@sam127 i hope not! i applied to CAS too and am still at 3!

@sam127 I applied to CAS and got it today as well.

did anyone else apply to CAS and still have 3 paragraphs?

Also does anyone know if decisions come out only on week days or can we receive a decision on the weekend?

@sam127
I don’t know for certain but I doubt they would release any decisions on weekends.

@Ryguy201 bummer

@uhhhhtransfer Hey! Congrats! Do you mind sharing your stats?

I also received that message today, probably like an hour ago because I had checked earlier and my portal didn’t update.

Anyone whos applied for CS and has two paragraphs?

@TheU2019 did you receive the email? Or the two paragraphs?

has anyone in the guaranteed transfer program heard back yet?

Hey everyone,

I applied March 1st and heard back yesterday. I received the “Welcome to the BU Community” email two days ago, and then yesterday received an email clarifying. Supposedly that email was supposed to go out after the portal updated. The portal is going to update sometime next week (probably thursday or friday is my best guess).

For all y’all looking for stats:

Freshman transfer admitted into CAS
3.7 College GPA
4.0 Weighted HS GPA (Don’t know if this matters but they asked for HS transcripts)

I had a few extra-curriculars in college but nothing special.

Did they prevent additional emails from being sent out @throwaway9746
