so yall also have not received any updates from BU? I think I’m the only one experiencing this such weird thing since they confirm it would be released in mid-April to mid-May. BU plays too much
so do u think the rest of us are waitlisted? anw, congrats on ur acceptance.
any updates?
I think there are many of us received nothing. BU lets us wait too long. Really upset about it.
probably no cuz it’s already 2 pm(or maybe there are some ppl who get decisions today and they are not in this forum) But I feel like the rest of us who are still waiting in this forum will get decision in the same week or even the same date.
Is this a good sign?
Next week I think will be the last week? maybe? Cuz they said release between mid April to mid June right?
Thank you! I am committed and really excited!! I feel like it’s not really a waitlist because majority of people haven’t heard back. I don’t think many people got decisions during the week I did.
I’m so sorry they’re taking this long for you guys, don’t lose hope I assume they’ll be accepting a lot more people!
Got in NYU but still want to know my other results…
Hey! I committed to BU and I’m super excited but I’m not where I should dorm. I’m thinking either Warren or West. Both have pros/cons so I’m not sure which one would be best any suggestions?
the BU reddit thread has a lot of info on the dorms!
UCSC is one of the best schools in the world for STEM!
Cz I think UCSC ranking is pretty low.
Seems like no one get offer this week, I think we have to wait till next week. Gosh I’m so impatient now!!
I got accepted to ucla but am still waiting for BU decision. I would love to hear your opinion, which school is the best and suitable for business majors?
Wow bro you definitely go to ucla, that’s a really really good school.
Go to UCLA
Rankings don’t mean anything at the undergraduate level. For example, UCSB ranks at #30 yet the undergraduate curriculum will be nearly identical at UCSC. UCSC also has the advantage of being so close to Silicon Valley which helps with networking and internship opportunities. It’s one of the most underrated schools in the world. Please don’t make the mistake of choosing a school based on rankings.
Thanks for the opinion. Cz I chose business Econ major so I hope I can get a better internship. However someone at UCSC told me not much big company will come for the career fair because is too far. UCSC is literally in the forest.
I’m not too familiar with their business econ major so I can’t really speak on the companies that show up for them. And yes, UCSC is in a forest, but it’s also just a 40 minute drive to Silicon Valley which isn’t far away at all. If I am being honest, UCSC is known for its STEM majors and not business/econ. I can only vouch for their engineering career fairs because big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Ebay show up every year with the intention to recruit and interview students. I haven’t done really any research on which companies show up to the non-engineering career fairs, but I’m sure that there are plenty of business related companies.
