boston university financial aid

For somebody with an EFC of about 15000, do they offer good aid?

Not unless you’re at the top of their pool stats wise.

Go to BU’s financial aid page on their website. They specifically list the kinds of stats that could get good money there.

It talks a lot about eligibility, but I didn’t see too many HS stats.

Go here:

[Boston University - Office of Financial Assistance - Applying for Financial Aid](http://www.bu.edu/finaid/apply/incoming.html)

Click on:
Probability of Receiving University Scholarships and Need-Based Grants

and read the pop-up (be sure to scroll down to read the chart)

Note that it says for BU scholarships (that’s merit aid) or grants (that’s financial aid).

Oh, thank you! Didn’t see that…

I guess they offer OK aid…for now, I’ll keep looking

My EFC was 28,000 at the time my D applied and they actually met above need less stafford loans.
We were very happy with their FA offer, but Daughter opted to attend her dream school.
