I'm about to be a senior and my dream schools are Boston University and Fordham University, and I would like to major in English.
I currently have a 3.3 GPA and a 1600 on my SAT (first and only time taken.) This year, I am hoping to increase my GPA to a 3.5 and my SAT score to at least a 2000.
I have been involved in my school's newspaper club (4 years) fashion club (4 years) community service club (2 years) literary magazine (1 year) stage crew (1 year) and cheerleading (1 year). (Hopefully I will add a few more EC's during my senior year.) I volunteer outside of school for my local animal shelter and Habitat for Humanity.
During my freshman year of high school, I had to go to a residential treatment center for anorexia, and during my sophomore year of high school, I had to undergo spinal fusion surgeries. Both of these took place during the school year and had a big impact on my grades (which explains my 3.3.)
If my eating disorder and surgery are not taken into consideration (not saying that they should be) what would be my chances with a 3.3 GPA?

You could probably get into the BU school of gneeral studies they take a little lower GPA and after 2 years you migrate into the general school its still BU you should look into that… try and boost your gpa as much as you can though youl be fine

Fordham is a possibility

you are so nice :") thanks for the help!
