Thanks, Sam927! I was about to post that link myself.

Anitsirhc90 - One of the reasons that I was drawn to Tufts is that the students I met just seemed so unpretentious. Smart, clearly, but they didn't have 'airs' about them. I'm thrilled to find that our board captures that spirit.

Thanks so much to everyone who gave some input! After doing some more research, I'm starting to lean towards Tufts...mainly because I realized how large BU is and I sorta value smaller classes than get lost in a large student body. BUT I'm going to visit both schools before I reach a final decision...and I really hope financial aid will work through for me. I have another question--does Tufts meet demonstrated financial need every year? Or is it just a one time thing? I've heard of some schools that gave a ton of financial aid freshman year and then the next year all those grants went away... :p

I wonder why it only shows up as a minor on the Arts & Sciences section? Processing error? But this is good news, since I want to try an IR/Cognitive Science major anyway!

I agree with this statement enthusiastically. I'm one of the most humble people I know. In fact, I'm very proud of that - let me show you how humble I am!!

After recieving the finaid package from tufts (isn't bad....), I'm deadset on going to tufts. The only thing that will stop me from going is if I get shot on campus when I go visit later this month.....BUT I got a rull ride to BU and my parents are making me go there....do you think I can ask tufts to match bu's offer? I got around 40k in aid from tufts, which I think is great. How much is the total cost for next year anyway? I'm gonna try to convince my parents...

Yes, djvu009, of course! That's what I'm going to try to do in terms of Holy Cross's package. But the only problem is, Holy Cross is offering the same exact thing, it's just that the gap between the aid and total costs is smaller at HC. I convinced my parents that Tufts is worth the money though! So I'm really excited in becoming a "Jumbo" haha! :D

Congrads to all who have gotten financial aid. Realize though that some kids are getting nothing, and maybe you should be happy with $40K each year and take the rest in loans, like so many others have to, or get a job.
