I’m an international student. How quickly do they update the BU web portal? If they’re giving phone calls, does this mean I have to wait for the mailed decision letters to find out about my admissions since I live far away?
well im nervious now that i didnt get a phone call.d oes anyone know how many people get it?
What does your acceptance to BC have to do with a call from a current BU student ?
I think the calls are completely random. Don’t stress it!
i really hope… after being hit with so many rejections, I have lost all confidence getting in anywhere else now (other than my safety schools) tbh… oh well, maybe i’ll be happy at my safety schools
@llegeAcceptanc Hey, you’ll be fine. Don’t stress out too much. Be optimistic and confident!
@llegeAcceptanc dude… You’ll be happy anywhere. College is what you make of it. Do as much as you can wherever you go. Be involved and work hard. Make the schools who didn’t accept you wish they did with the accomplishments you make.
thanks guys lol. that made me feel better
@Mfrias Nice words of wisdom!
@NickScythe @llegeAcceptanc yes… I’ve been on both sides of the totem pole. Right when I thought nothing was going my way… I got the job of a lifetime. God has a plan and we just need to follow it through. Best of luck to you all !!
Hello all, BU freshman here who was in your shoes one year ago! Last year they said that they would be rolling out decisions throughout the day, but almost all of the decisions had been posted that morning for everyone to see if they logged into the ApplicantLink. Hopefully the same will happen this year to shorten your already lengthy wait. Best of luck to all of you and WE’RE ALL SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU FUTURE TERRIERS THIS FALL!!!
Sorry if I missed a post about it, but does anyone know what the phone call means? I didn’t realize but apparently they called me today but I wasn’t home yet and neither were my parents so no one answered. They didn’t leave a message… Just curious!
Didn’t get a call but I didn’t list my phone number.
So nervous! Really want to get in!
I have a 4.05 W GPA and a 3.88 UW. I got a 31 on my ACT. I’m the VP of my schools CSF club, historian for FBLA, and NHS secretary. I also have been very involved in theatre and community service. I am half Mexican (first generation America) and a first generation college student. I’ve taken 8 AP classes and I’ve passed all of the tests so far. I’m not sure how great my chances are, but hopefully they like me.
