7 AP’s, and I think 11 honors classes
My essays were good but not amazing.
I also attended the investigative reporting workshop they hold for high school students during the summers about two years ago.

Didn’t get any merit aid which is a bit of a bummer, I’ve also been accepted to Northeastern, U of Miami, and U of Sheffield in England. Congratulations to all those who got in and sorry to those who got rejected!

Hoping I get a good FA package from NYU!!!

@Ksum2897 I did! And I had very similar stats to yours, also a surprise.

@csc789‌ you got into UCSD and you didn’t think you’d get into CAS???

what in the world… wowza. regardless, welcome and congratulations!

ACCEPTED to CGS January Boston-London Program with 10,000 in aid.

Even though I wasn’t admitted for the fall, I am so excited!!!

3.6 GPA
28 ACT

I GOT MY RESULTS! I WAS ACCEPTED!!! It feels so surreal

Accepted through guaranteed admission in 2016.
GPA: 94/100 SAT: 1980
I love BU and was hoping to attend next year, but I’m happy not to be rejected. I’ve been accepted to University of Missouri, University of Iowa, SUNY Binghamton, and Syracuse U (Newhouse) so far. Does anyone have any advice for me? I’m not sure what to make of this. Thanks.

Does anyone know when Texas gets the decisions?

@absotootly Yaaaa, I honestly didn’t expect UCSD either. Congrats to you too!!

Son was accepted for Engineering.
GPA - 3.98, weighted 4.06
Rank 16/300
SAT 2180
lots of extracurriculars and leadership.

33k in BU Grant.

Nothing about Honors college, so I guess that is a no.

Still waiting to hear from Rice before he makes the decision between Rice (hopefully), Case Western, BU and VCU.

If they haven’t updated the applicant link does that mean i most likely did not get in? And does where you live matter when it comes to what time you get your results?

@aude22 woo same here. join the club of 3!

Accepted but with only loans. 3.4 UW 2270 SAT.

It’s so bittersweet! I feel like it could be a good thing because you always have a backup if you don’t like your school next year, but it feels weird because I can’t go even though I got in.

Can someone tell me why my son got waitlisted? I am in shock! He got into BC, also NE with honors.
2300+ SAT
Valedictorian
Excellent ECs, campus visit.

@aude22 i think im pretty happy because idk if I would have got good financial aid the first year plus you save money and you still graduate with a BU degree. it’s only one year so :p.

Accepted to CGS Boston - London January 2016 Program
OOS
UW GPA: 3.2
W GPA: 4.2
SAT: 1730 (1110 CR+M)
Strength of Essays: Pretty Decent

True. Plus I’m glad it’s not binding so if I end up liking my school more I won’t have to switch. But I still feel weird about the whole process.
