I was waitlisted at northeastern so hopefully BU will pull through with an acceptance and some $ lol.
@skidreamer BU ED is a binding decision so it doesn’t matter which is better. You’re obligated to go to BU because you applied early.
How could someone be smart enough to be accepted at these higher level colleges and not have a basic understanding and/or care about their ED obligations?
Gosh. Ski dreamer only asked if NEU is now harder to get into than BU. Why are you guys assuming he/she wants to chuck the ED obligation or doesn’t care about it? 
NEU used to be a safety and commuter school. It probably IS harder to get in now than BU. We’ll find out Saturday. Good luck everyone!

Accepted to Northeastern couple days ago and BC yesterday on my birthday. Hoping for another miracle with BU lol. If I get BU I’ll be 5 for 5 on colleges so lets get this!

I know BU said they would release the decisions tomorrow but does anyone think it could come out today because today’s a business day?
idea is to release it when no one is there so they don’t have to field calls 
BTW BU and BC are former commuter schools too. They made the transition to residential circa 1980.

They tweeted. They will be rolling out decisions after 8 am on Saturday. You will get an email when yours is ready. 
They have the hashtag #ThisCouldBU on all of their pictures of students doing stuff which is pretty darn cute.

I want it to be tomorrow already!! The wait is killing me. I don’t know what to expect.
On one hand, I believe my application is somewhat strong (GREAT essays and showed strong interest in BU, good CR SAT score which is important for my school: CGS to which I applied directly and a good/average GPA, and I’m from an underrepresented country if that matters at all) but on the other hand I have lower M and W scores 
I hope they look beyond my overall SAT scores, which aren’t horrible but definitely well below the average for BU. I really love BU and am willing to give my best if I am admitted. I will definitely attend if admitted.
@undecidedac96 in the same boat as u!! OK sat scores, awesome essay, and a very good gpa…except you are international?? But from what I have heard, Boston is legit very holistic…so as long as u have worked hard I guess we will both be fine

ACT: 32 composite (35 eng, 32 math, 29 reading, 30 science, 8 essay)
EC: Jazz Ensemble, Band, Pit Orchestra (senior year), Math Team

SUNY Buffalo ($5K/year Provost Scholarship, Honors College)
SUNY Stony Brook ($4.5 K/year in scholarships)
Northeastern University (NU.in program)
Hoping I’ll get accepted and get a decent amount of aid (Asian male, with $180K income) but that’s going to be tough given how much my family makes each year …
@undecidedac96 @bubbles9 I feel the same way as you guys!! I was rejected from BC! I’m hoping to get into BU’s School of Education/College of Arts & Sciences Double Degree Program. My SAT’s are also below BU’s average too but I hope that they really overlook past only SAT’s. I would definitely go if I got in but I’m starting to feel very discouraged. Do they pick students for the CGS if they don’t feel that you won’t make it at one of their colleges? I mistakenly picked no on my Common App for the CGS will they not choose me due to this?
