i just got waitlisted by bc and rejected from jhu so i’m pretty despondent right now

It’s alright guys, everything happens for a reason. I lost all hope when I was rejected by northeastern. The very next day, I got in at BC. It will work out in the end.
People who haven’t gotten calls yet still have a chance of getting in, right? Also, is it true that BU releases their decisions at 8:00am EST and 5:00am PST?
Yes obviously. Only a few people are called. BU cannot call all the accepted students @lilac832
guys I’m sure that they didn’t call all of the applicants they accepted. Just don’t stress it, you guys are going to all be okay and remember that everything works out in a specific way for a reason. Don’t stress it you guys, I’m sure you will be okay

probably the most cliche thing to to say but honestly it’s not where you go, it’s how you do. anyway, I wish you guys luck tomorrow. And if you don’t get in, trust me it’s not the end of the world. I’m at my “safety school” where I dreaded going and although I am applying to transfer for personal reasons, I have had a pleasant experiene and i would not mind if I ended up staying (probably not going to get into my transfer school anyway lmao).
Also, if you want to feel better. BU is known for grade deflation so if any of you guys want to get into a really good med school for example, it would be easier doing it at a state university lol. not trying to discredit BU but just saying it as a way to make you guys feel better just in case some of you dont get in.
