Thanks for sharing

I hope that if they reject me, they at least tell me I have been rejected rather than ghosting me lol

Same here

i feel that

if rejected that means i have to wait a year before i can reapply right ?

I AGREE! I’m so sorry but apparently BU is known to ghost transfers

I just want to let everyone know if some people hear back while others don’t, it will all be OK  We will get through this. <3 you guys are amazing and I am sending you the best of luck

Happened to me for the spring term. But they let me put my app in for fall 2022. So better than rejected lol

I applied for spring too, but they rejected me because a requirement to apply for the spring was to have been previously accepted last year

My theory is they ghost people they don’t want to reject but don’t have space for and offer to put them in for the next term. I have zero idea if that’s true but you have to pay again and wait a whole year to reapply if you’re rejected.

I think you’re totally right. I bet everyone who isn’t accepted is ranked on a certain list and people get bumped up as the original acceptance offers aren’t taken

i dont think so. ik people who were rejected and got to apply again. its just because last semester was so competitive, at least thats what my admissions counselor told me. they ghosted me last sem too tho haha

I remember when I got a decision from them last time, the portal won’t say " Boston University is currently processing a large volume of applications and credentials. We appreciate your patience as we work through the backlog. Please allow up to two weeks for supporting materials to be matched to your application and reflected on the [Application Status]", instead it’ll say “an update was made on your portal”

wait so does the long message mean rejection or acceptance?
