For those already accepted, how long did it take to get your finaid package?

I got accepted on Monday, received my finaid package on Wednesday.
For those who got the response back, when did u guys apply? Do u think it affects how soon you’ll hear back?

I applied the day of deadline, 3/15. Some of my docs were event a month late, my hs transcript didn’t get in until 4/17 because my school messed it up. I still got my decision on 4/24 for CAS and my aid package 2 days later, so I don’t think it matters much. This appears to be entirely random.

I got mine 2 days after. I did call them the day after I got my decision tho, so maybe that could speed it up?
They gave me pretty good aid actually. Not going to mention specifics bc of privacy but they’re covering between 65-75% of my total cost. I know a friend who got 97% covered too.
Ok thanks, I’m just confused on this whole process. I have a 4.0 and extracurriculars involving research and stuff but I didn’t do that many credits since it’s been only a year since I entered college. I have the minimum requirement and by the end of this semester I’ll have 34 but i don’t know how big of a role credits play
Yea I called them tdy asking and they said I’d need to wait again lol they love making us play the waiting game😭 did u get an email notification once it was ready?
I think the things BU values the most is grades & interest. As long as you have a good essay and a minimum avg 3.5gpa you should be fine. Don’t take my word for it tho
Yea I got the email saying my decision was ready to view. Weirdly the actual letter on the website was dated for 4/21 lol
Thank you! I got my financial aid package too and they definitely gave more money than I expected. I’m go to appeal for more though!
