Boston University vs Nanyang Technological University Undergrad

So I've been accepted to both BU and NTU. (Engineering) Both have their plus points and minus points so I'm having a bit of difficulty deciding between the two.

NTU has a better reputation for having a good engineering program with good career prospective, but as a Singaporean who lived overseas for the whole 18 years of my life, I often feel a bit out of place (especially after spending 1 year of military service) in this country.

BU has a much better campus environment and would be a better fit from me, but from what I read, practices grade deflation, making it harder to get a good gpa and a job if the employer does not know much about BU education.

Im planning to pursue a master's right after graduation and heard both schools are good for getting graduate programs elsewhere, but I'm pretty much stuck between choosing a good education but miserable 4 years and a mediocre education but a decent 4 years.

Note that the info I just provided are just opinions that I came up with based on reviews and experiences. Correct me if I'm wrong or if you disagree.

Any opinions on where I should go? I'm particularly looking for answers from those who attended BU, international students who attended BU, and overseas Singaporeans who attended NTU.

Well, do you want to work in Asia or USA? Thats the biggest question right now.
Don’t worry about location that much (where ever you go, you’ll have fun at undergrad, trust me).
