Hi, i've been accepted to Penn State University Park for Fall semester, but i only got into Boston University's CGS program. From my research, the CGS program does not seem like a bad idea (considering you declare your major after two years like most schools) but I got crappy aid (only 5500 grants and 5500 loans, total 11000 in aid). I got about 15000 in aid at Penn State. I'm a bit torn between the two places. Money is sort of an issue since my grandparents are helping me through college, but I want them to pay the least amount as possible. Is BU better than Penn State? I'm probably going to pick some liberal arts majors like broadcast journalism with english.

bump! Need some input! Is Penn State COM good as BU’s?

Penn State is arguably the better of the two. BU is definitely not worth the extra money if finances are an issue. Also, as I am sure you know, BU CGS is sort of a consolation prize.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I’m going to stick with Penn State since it’s a good school and it’s cheaper.
