<p>Hi! I need help deciding between these two colleges. I’m pre-med and I know I want to go to medical school after getting my undergraduate degree so I want to go to the one that will prepare me more for grad school. Another factor is financial aid. I would have to pay 19K for Boston U and 9.4K for UCSD. </p>
<p>How would you weigh the academics between them? What about life there? Overall experience?</p>

I was also in the same dilema a couple of days ago between UCberkeley and BU … and i ended up choosing bu because I also want to go to med school. (+they gave me more money. it was just paying room&board vs. 31,000 for ucb)
BU is a smaller school than the UC’s and has a greater student to faculty ratio+its a private school which means theres less competition here than at UC schools.
med school is VERY hard to get into and i hear its nearly impossible if you go to a public university. but then again, debt at medschool is also no joke so i would carefully weigh the options. I guess if its not too much of a burden on your family then BU is the way to go.</p>
