Hi!

I am considering transferring into either Boston University or the University of Maryland at College Park. But this is an extremely difficult decision for me to make, as both are wonderful schools.

I know that Boston University is significantly more expensive than the University of Maryland, but disregarding the cost of each school, which school would you recommend and why?

How would you compare academics, extracurricular activities, internship opportunities, dormitories, dining halls, etc, of each school? What about the student body? Is it more motivated at one school, than it is at the other? I am not that interested in parties, and would prefer a school that has a richer array of social opportunities.

Is one school better overall? Also, is it true that Boston University has ridiculous grade deflation? Does that mean that it would be easier to get into graduate school from Maryland?

Also, this might be useful to know: I am interested in majoring in journalism, but I am not yet certain.

I appreciate all advice.

Thanks!
