Boston University vs University of Washington (Seattle) - Neuroscience

I want to major in Neuroscience and I got accepted to Boston University and University of Washington (Seattle). Which one do you think is better?
I also got into UCSD, UCD, Occidental College and I am considering them too…It is very hard to decide

For neuroscience, I would say that you should choose between University of Washington and UCSD. The downside to UW is that you can not enter into UW as neuroscience, rather you would be admitted as a pre-physical sciences major. However, you would have a lot more research opportunities at UW than at UCSD @greenpanda

^i agree with this, but I’d argue that there are more research opportunities at UCSD than UW (despite the competition from all the other bio students)

Are there any factors outside of the neuroscience major you’re considering/may be important? Others have given you sound advice, re: neuroscience, but of course BU is the kind of school (all of your choices are!) where you can’t really go wrong, I don’t think… so you may have to decide based on other factors/feelings. Maybe some of us can help with BU-specific queries?

The one advantage you might have with BU is that Boston is a research powerhouse for neuroscience.
