can you just schedule one yourself?
don't they have to call you?
hmm maybe I should call them to schedule one for me...

they called me to schedule one, but I told them I'd get back to them because I needed to talk with my parents about when we could go

anyone know how many people apply for the program, how many are interviewed, and how many are accepted?

okay, um the person who called me didn't leave any information on where the interview was

It should be at BU, but give a call to the admissions office.

hey everyone! i just got back from my interview at BU, and it was amazing! I dont know how well the interviews went but I absolutely loved it there. I met some amazing people, and everyone was extremely nice. The city was gorgeous (a little cold for someone from the South). If you guys have any questions about the interview, I would be more than happy to answer anything you have. I stayed in Boston for two days. I would suggest that so that you dont have to worry about traveling/flying in on the same day of the interview, and you have time to explore the beautiful city. Dress warmly!! It was quite cold, and I was caught off guard. Everyone has two interviews, one at the BU Medical School with a professor there and the second at the College of Arts and Sciences with another professor. At lunchtime, you also meet up with all the other people interviewing that day as well as some first year students already in the program. They tell you lots of valuable information-the kind only a student can, and they are all extremely nice. Btw even the food was awesome in the dining hall. Again, if there is anything I can with-im in the same boat as you guys! Good luck with everything :-)

no more people gonna be called for interviews.. just called the office. guess that means im rejected =(

yep same here :-( which others did u apply to?

yep same here :-( which others did u apply to?

ditto.
oh well... going to different schools should be lots of fun. :)

VietAnn26... Could yu share some interview questions? medical and/or non-medica... ethical...I' going there on 1st

The vast majority of the questions I was asked was about my interests, my history, my family, and why I want to study medicine. I was lucky that I was not approached about the business of medicine. However, the man who interviewed me at the Medical School was very kind. He gave me a heads up for possible "business of medicine" questions and gave me some background that I could use. Otherwise, the people at Boston University were very gracious, warm, and inviting. I found that they didnt try to intimidate me. Quite the contrary, they tried to make me feel as comfortable as a possible so they could learn about how who I really was, what motivated me, what brought me to BU, and why I wanted so badly to become a doctor. So be prepared to talk about everything you wrote in your application, especially your medical experieince if you have any. And remember to be genuine. I hope that helps!

what do you mean by business of medicine?

just about how people pay for their healthcare hmo, medicare, medicaid, etc.

Thank you, VietAnn
