What do you guys think?
I'm looking for a school in a city setting with a good reputation in journalism, advertising, PR! any suggestions?

You chanced me and I was going to chance you back but I don’t know any journalism schools. I could google “good journalism schools”, but, I’m sure you’ve already done that. Sorry I can’t help you more but I think you’re in at boston university.

BU is a little bit of a reach because of your gpa and sat but your journalistic ECs are great and i think you definitely have a chance. like they said above, essay is key! im applying to BU too and we have very similar ECs :)

When I read “I’m looking for a school in a city setting with a good reputation in journalism, advertising, PR! any suggestions?” I immediately thought of Northwestern because it’s world renowned for its journalism. However, NW would be a high reach with a 1670 SAT. I would suggest practicing a lot for your ACTs and if they’re at 30ish, you have a chance of getting in. Your weighted GPA and ECs are pretty good =)
As for BU, I think it’s a high match for you… because of the SAT.

Your best chance at BU is in the College of General Studies, mostly because of your SAT scores. Especially for the College of Communications, which is one of the tougher schools at BU to get into.
