BOSTON v. PHILLY social scene???

<p>I'm looking at Wharton (@UPenn), Sloane (@MIT), and Harvard right now. Without putting my full application/resume on here, I've been told I have a good shot at all of them. Nonetheless, I have an issue because I just don't know what the social scenes are like at these places, even after visiting. So specifically, how are the frats/parties/social life/girls at these 3 schools, and more generally, how is Philly compared to Boston??</p>

<p>I don’t know about the college party scene in Philly, but it is plenty active in Boston/Cambridge! Lots of cross-attendance from area colleges. Check for previous threads about MIT or Harvard partying such as:

Harvard/MIT are very close (walking distance) to Lesley (Cambridge) and BU. Short bus or T ride to Tufts (Somerville), Northeastern, Simmons, Emmanuel, BC, Suffolk, Berklee, Emerson, MCAD, Wentworth etc.

<p>Idk about Boston, but bc Philly is a much bigger city there is so much more to do!! Just South Street on a Friday night will give you plenty to do lol!!! Not to mention that UPenn, Drexel, and Temple are all large schools and are fairly close to each other (Penn and Drexel being the closest)</p>
