Boston vs George Washington

Assume I fit within both schools' ranges of average stats, the location's about comparable to me, and since the cost only differs by about $1,000, that's not much of an issue either.

Do you know anything that might persuade me to pick one over the other? I don't think I want to apply to both, because for time (and money) reasons I was planning to apply to <12 schools--these two are basically competing for that last spot on my list of schools that fit nicely with my numbers.

Thanks,
Kristin

i think boston is a better city to go to college in because there are hundreds of colleges in the surrounding area, which will make for a great college experience, while in DC you just have georgetown and american. I love boston and theres so much to do. I visited BU and it seems theres a place for everyone with all types of interests. But if you’re looking to major in political science, international relations, or anything along that lines, gw would probably have a lot more opportunities for students.

OP, are you asking about undergrad or medschools?

Med schools! Thanks for noticing that ChemFreak!

In that case, start looking at each school’s curriculum and see which one you like more. Thats pretty much the only thing left.
