Hi guys! What would my chances at getting the Trustee Scholarship at Boston University seem like with these stats??
–International student (Asian)- lived in many countries in the Middle East and South Asia, so diverse background
– Speak 4 languages (including English)
–Studying in British curriculum-
- 8 A* 's in O Levels- English First Language, Maths, Information Tech., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Religion, Foreign Language
- 4 A/S Levels with AAAC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Language
- A Levels- predicted AAA* for Physics Chemistry Biology (I’m dropping English)
–GPA- my school doesnt give GPA (will this count as a point against my application??)
– Class rank- in top 5 of the class
–SAT score- 1440 (New SAT), 2070 (Old SAT)
–SAT subject tests- Maths Level 1- 710, awaiting results for Biology, Chemistry and Physics- I expect these to be around 750~ (that is predicting from my practice tests)
– I got the “First in Nation Award” for First Language English in O Level from Cambridge Examinations
– IELTS score- 8.5 overall
– Excellent counselor and teacher recs (although I think U of T doesn’t require teacher recs… correct me if I’m wrong)
– Extracurricular activities- I’m involved in the journalism club and book club at school, I’ve participated in Clean the River & Family Planning campaigns in India, Volunteer at the Autism Centre, and MUN
I’d really appreciate if people who have been to/ are currently in this university can give me a sense of their application stats as well.Thanks for any help given!
