Both my UCSD and UCSB application are still pending...

I have a 3.92 gpa and tag with UCSD, but both UCSD and UCSB's applcation are still pending. I have three Ws in my transcript, will that affect my decision. And I receive an email from UCSD in march 8 to ask me to explain my two year education gap. Is that because they don't like my explanation that's why my decision is still pending? Most of my friends from same school get all accepted except me. I'm start to feel worried now! Anyone has similarity with my situation?

hey, u know what?
All my uci, ucsb, ucsd apps are pending.
And I have 3.86 gpa and 4.0 major gpa.
Igetc already completed, no educational gap, no W’s.
Wondering why I haven’t got anything yet.

My decision is pending for UCSB and UCSD too, but also UCSC. GAHH!! lol.
I think it’s just totally random, and I also got an email from ucsd asking me for clarification on one of the colleges I took courses at because there wasn’t enough room, so I had to abbreviate it lol.
Oh well. What can you do? Just kick back, tryy to do the best in your classes (which is next to impossible for me with transferitis!), and well, just wait lol. They have to come out sometime :P

Same situation, except I have heard from UCI and UCSC already.

Still pending for UCSD and UCSB.

sigh…

Exact same situation here! Still pending for UCSD and UCSB. 3.78 gpa completed igetc and prereqs and no W’s. Should we be worried?

What are your majors?

I got into UCSD already and my gpa is a low 3.41 =/ MUST be random!!

I applied as management science for sd and business econ for sb.

Hey for those who are waiting for UCSB, you guys shouldn’t worry. I got my acceptence the first day. However, I thought I wasn’t going to because I had recently updated my UC App (3/4/2010) with a schedule change. I am sure those who have 3.1+ will get admitted.

Stats-
GPA: 3.34
Major: Global Studies
Admitted: UCSB
Pending: UCI, UCSD, UCLA

UCSB is probably(I say this because my parents expect me to attend UCLA) my first choice.

That’s a good theory haha

i don’t mean to be mean, but it’s sorta makes me feel a little better knowing that i’m not the only one that STILL hasn’t heard from UCSD. i did hear from UCSB though. i wonder whhhyyy UCSD is taking so long!!!

I am getting sick of UCSD not releasing decisions. lol, this wait is killing me. And 4 more weeks for UCLA/USC. Ahhh

Are you guys international students?

I’m having a hard time sleeping already because I still havent heard from UCSD and UCSB. I’m starting to wonder if something went wrong with my application =/

I got UCSB, but I havent gotten anything from UCSD, they’re starting to really **** me off

@ CalBearGuy

Could not agree with you more. Got into UCSB already, but nothing from UCSD. I’d almost prefer a notice of rejection now. I think what irritates me the most is that it seems like so many people have already heard. I hate the whole batch/ wave concept. Why not do it all at once!

^ EXACTLY, wth is the point of batches/waves?? Just put it out! and yeah i know the feeling, like everyone around me seems to have heard back from SD already.

I am sure you guys got in, unless there are some other things…

Does that matter if I checked the EOP student option in my UC application and this might take longer to be evaluated?

maybe ucsd is double checking their releases this year so they don’t make the same mistake again, HAR HAR HARRRR.

You guys need to chilllll haha. I’m actually more worried about finals right now than UC acceptances. Whatever happens will happen! It’s soo not worth losing sleep over.
