Both year ed-ing colgate??

I am an international student who applied to Colgate in Ed for fall 2014 but was rejected.Though i got in few other schools(safeties with very low aid) I decided to wait one year. And this year too,Colgate is my first choice.I am thinking of applying ed to Colgate but i am afraid whether my last year rejection at Colgate will have any effect on my this year decision
I am retaking my sat and expecting 1500+(last year i had 1320).With this scores improvement ,i will have lots of other improvement too (essays)..and lots of new Eca's and work experiences. Is it still good idea to apply Colgate in early decision?

P.S.-Since I am international,I will be needing a lot of aid.My family contribution is only 10K annually(which is also a improvement,last year I had 4k)

Is that 1500 for critical reading and math only? If yes, that is good. Definitely more ECs and work experience is good. Your reapplication can be turned to your advantage. You may even choose to highlight that in your essay.

My ds knows 2 internationals in his batch whose annual contribution is much lower than 10k.

Good luck.

Thank you very much -moneyp.Yes i am expecting 1500+ in composite…I was also wondering whether there will be any advantage of applying both year Ed. And can you please explain how to turn reapplication to my advantage?..

You definitely have advantage by applying ED. Colgate looks on your need. If you are top notch, they will cover that need. In your essay, you can show your love for Colgate by showing that you had applied the previous year and showed that you worked on improving yourself.
