<p>I was thinking of buying both a laptop to take to classes and a computer to just have in my room for homework and internet etc...but I am considering only buying the laptop and just relying on that for everything. What does everyone think?</p>
<p>I am considering just bringing the laptop as well. I think a laptop is good enough for me since I am not really a serious gamer, but I suggest if you just want to bring in a laptop, buy like a better one so it is comparable to a desktop.</p>
<p>You don't really need two computers.. you ought to be fine with a slightly overpowered laptop than from what you'd normally buy. If you're an intense gamer, then I guess you might want two... but its unnecessary.</p>
<p>I agree. There is really no reason to have both. I had the same problem last year but just decided to go with a laptop and that has worked out fine for me. When I want to leave the room with it I just unplug and go. Much easier and everything is consolidated on one computer.</p>
