These are my top 3 schools that i've gotten into and right now I'm leaning towards boulder, I'm planning on majoring in business or something related to that. Does anyone have any recomendations?

Indiana for business

Indiana--Boulder's B school is not very good.

I love Boulder (the city), but IU is a better choice for academics all the way around, ESPECIALLY business. Bloomington is a neat college town, too, minus the mountains and skiing.

Is boulder really that much worse than IU? I realize its not on the exact same level, but I'm willing to give up a slight academic advantage in exchange for the "not living in indiana" advantage. Plus i love skiing and I'm pretty sure I'd love boulder. Am i making a huge mistake?

edit: and what do you mean that boulders business school isn't that good? I thought leeds was pretty good? I just checked US news and its ranked 35 in the nation, and while IU is ranked higher, this dosen't mean boulder is bad.

Go to Boulder! Why go to Indiana (no offense indiana people...) when you can go skiing and live in a gorgeous town! And OMG, the Boulder campus is incredible and I have never seen a nicer athletic complex... plus, boulder is still a great school (its Tier 1). Pick a school you will be happy at! I turned down UCLA and USC for Boulder (and then ended up going somewhere else at the last minute because I got a full ride but I was seriously going to go to Boulder...i had sent my deposit.... I might go there next year as a transfer though, i dont like my current school). The honors program at boulder is great too. You should consider it! I love Boulder!

UCONN business school has moved up in the ranks. Have you visited the campus? The business building is really awesome. Many other buildings are new too. UCONN has been investing a huge amount of money into its facility and into its programs ( many new professors too).
My second son who really likes UCONN was accepted there with scholarship so it was going to be really low cost ( we are in-state) but instead he chose the most expensive school -NYU. But we are O.K. with it because I believe he is in a better place for himself. But sometimes we think hmmm...$8,000/yr. or $50,000/yr.? He still loves to watch their b-ball teams.

It's not as easy to get into UCONN as it used to be as an in-state student. It used to be thought as a safety to most at my kids' HS but not anymore. In fact a kid who lives around the corner was waitlisted last year and he has a brother and sister going there. I would say that the only draw back is its location - surrounded by cow patches and not much of a college town.

Boulder has a lot to offer but it does have a party reputation.

Uhm IUB has skiing about a half hour away... sooo....

Thanks for the advice Kaitlyn, i think i will go there. maybe ill see you there if you transfer over
Peacemaker, while UCONN sounds like a good school, I don't think I'll go there because it seems like storrs is in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do outside of the campus, plus for a cali boy like me who gets unbearably cold at 50 degrees i dont think i could take conneticutt :. I'm fine with boulders party reputation anyway, i love to party

edit: Freddy, while IUB might have some slopes a half hour away, i'm pretty sure that they wouldn't even come close to comparing to colorados slopes, which are some of the best in the world.

Indiana has the best business program out of the 3 by far.

all have great programs.....when you all get older you will all realize that the rankings really don't mean much.

even though im a diehard uconn supporter, i'd say overall indiana has the best business program. HOWEVER. if you plan on living/working in the northeast, Uconn would be your best bet. likewise, if youre planning on working/living on the west coast, you may want to consider colorado.
