Bowdion vs. Brandeis vs. Bryn Mawr vs. Barnard

All of these schools are good. Honestly, you need to first decide Single Sex or Co-Ed. All of the schools are good. In the end, though, I do personally believe Bowdoin is just a step above the rest.

I am also very interested in Bryn Mawr, Brandeis, and Bowdoin. After majoring in Political Science and Philosophy, I want to go to law school, hopefully, Harvard Law. I heard Bryn Mawr students are unable to discuss their grades, and because of this policy, there isn’t even a Dean’s List. I know position on the Dean’s List is important in getting into top tier law schools. Does anyone know how law schools view Bryn Mawr? Do Bryn Mawr applicants to top law schools have that competitive, politics driven, edge as graduates of Brandeis and even Bowdoin do?

Anyone who matters (e.g., grad schools, law schools, prospective employers) knows that Bowdoin is NOT a community college but one of THE top liberal arts colleges in the country. It is consistently ranked in the top 10 in the US News rankings. That said, Brandeis, Bryn Mawr and Barnard are also excellent schools.

anyone who doesn’t know of Bowdoin obviously does not watch The Sopranos. The daughter gets into Columbia and rejected from Bowdoin…not to mention that they visit Bowdoin and Colby one episode, where Tony Soprano kills someone at Colby! I got quite the lol from that.
