Thanks!

Also, my uncle taught at Bowdoin. I don’t know if that helps…

Apart from the family connection, a girl presumably from the Northeast with a 2100, I would say your chances are de minimis at Bowdoin. Sadly, but most of the New England schools are harder for females. Colby might be offer a better chance, I don’t think Bates does because of the gender issue.

Hamilton, Colgate, Lafayette, Connecticut
College, Holy Cross?

You have to try though.

The school is a match for you. You have some chance of either acceptance or denial. My feeling is that you would be accepted. Congratulations on your GPA and SAT II scores.

Thanks! I’m applying for oceanography so I’m hoping the specificity of my ECs will help.

I think you have a good chance at being accepted, although I wish you would take the SAT one more time to get that math over 700!!! Haha

If you’re good enough to swim on the state level why not talk to the Bowdoin coach? It might help your chances.

Might also look at Holy Cross, Colby, Bates.

Thanks everyone!
