yea i think you have a pretty good shot...I'm applying there ED also but I'm a legacy so that's where I have an edge :). You should say anything on your application about being a republican (as you mentioned above) because bowdoin is a pretty liberal school and i think expressing your political views to the admissions committee can backfire...

Well my app is already sent in and I didn't push the fact that I'm a Republican....only a person who is very politically active and interested in politics...and I'm not going to pretend I'm a liberal just to get into Bowdoin; in the adcom's eyes I'm a person who will add diversity to their campus, being that it is very very liberal. Good luck applying ED...what are your stats?

Wait....on another post you said you're applying ED to Duke and here you're saying that you're applying to Bowdoin ED?

I'd say your chances look good to me, you'll know within a week and a half probably.

................Thanks!

Hey, I'm applying ED 2 and getting really nervous about not getting in after seeing so many deferrals. Anyone wanna help tell me my chances?

founding member of environmental club

oh man, this is all so ridiculous

good luck zus6187

honestly, it is really hard to tell with any of this. Everyone on cc.com says 'good recs' and 'good essays'. All I can say is that it looks to me like you'll be competitive, and wish you the best of luck.
