My newspaper has won a competition for school newspapers
I have received an award for journalistic excellence in a competition for an article of mine.
I have two articles published in professional newspapers
In addition, I headed a journalistic workshop, which aimed to help students from other schools in establishing their own newspapers and honing their writing skills.
I also headed the newspaper of this workshop, thus at a time I was the editor-in-chief of two newspapers.
I have also an award from an essay competition

In my junior year I took part in a competition against 60 of the best English students in the country to participate in the Model European Parliament
I got one of the 3 spots available and the chance to represent my country on the in

Thanks for your opinions!
Anyone else? Are my ECs insufficient? There are very limited EC opportunities in my country. The whole system is different. Do you think i should send my scores to Bowdoin?

Your ECs are great. U have a great chance for Davidson. No SAT most of the times comes with specially high GPA. Also try to apply to Wake forest I would say its a low reach for you.

Match in all except maybe Emory and definitely Chicago.

i think you have an excellent chance at all these schools. the only one that is somewhat of a reach is chicago, and if you can get your composite SAT superscore up to around 2200 i wouldnt be worried about there either.
