Hey people.

I'm having a really difficult time deciding between applying EDII to either Bowdoin or Claremont McKenna. CMC is probably my first choice, but I don't know how good my chances are under EDII. I'm pretty sure I can get into Bowdoin EDII, because I went to the Explore Bowdoin program, but I live in Maine, and I'd really like to get out of the state. Some advice about this would be greatly appreciated.

Tomatopuree16,

Bowdoin and CMC are very different schools, with Bowdoin the quintessential liberal arts college and CMC much more pre-professional, especially for an LAC. If you want a true liberal arts experience in the Claremont consortium, maybe try Pomona or Pitzer. Have you visited the Claremont campuses – probably the most beautiful I have ever seen (and much warmer and sunnier than Maine). Good Luck!

ED is binding. If you don’t know you’d want to go to Bowdoin, save it for RD.
