Can you have boyfriends/girlfriends in boarding school? Do they allow it? Are there schools that don't allow it, and some that do? Which ones?

Also, if they allow it, and your seen kissing or something more, will you be in trouble or get expelled?

Just kinda curious about this, in boarding school, since I'm coming from a public school that doesn't care.

If they didn't allow it I almost feel that it would be a violation of your rights...

They don't care much at Exeter. If you get caught having 'illegal v's' (visitations with a member of the opposite sex that was not permitted) you might be put on restrictions or an earlier check in, but you would not likely go up before the discipline committee. If you continued to break the rules you could probably get in a good bit of trouble, but I wouldn't think it'd be a big deal as long as you behaved. (:

haha :D

this is what I was secretly asking myself..

hey my sister is at DA and they do allow bf/ gfs... but guys aren't allowed in girls dorms and vice versa

At SPS girls and boys can go in each-other's rooms, during certain hours.

Dating is absolutely allowed, and not punishable.

However if you are walked in on while doing more then kissing, I believe you are required to go to counseling.

that thread is hilarious!
