<p>just wanna know a general idea of how many people have or have ever had braces on their teeth</p>
<p>i myself got em off i think last year, and am still wearing the retainer periodically</p>

<p>Never had to wear them. My teeth are as straight as a homophobe.</p>
<p>never. tiny bit of crowding in lower front teeth but largely unnoticeable except to my obssessiveness. ^ ^</p>
<p> Yep, I have to wear them now..I don't mind, a lot of people say I look cute with them..I like the brighter colors for some reason..the neon pinks and greens and oranges..=</p>
<p>I wore them and I got them off in eighth grade. I'm a senior now and I wore my retainer for nearly three years after the braces came off. I'm a little worried about my next trip to the dentist because I just got my wisdom teeth out today and I don't want to hear that the wisdom teeth messed with the two and a half years of braces and that I get to go through the whole process again.</p>
<p>I had them - got em off quite a few years ago - I wear my retainers every other night still - of course i work at my orthodontist now so i'm obsessive about wearing them to keep my teeth straight.</p>
<p>I wore them for about a year and a half. Was really glad to get them off, hated them, stopped going to the orthodontist and wearing my retainer before it was time but it didn't hurt.</p>
<p>I hated them but now I'm really glad I had them, my teeth look so much better.</p>
<p>I had mine 8th grade through sophomore year. I'm really proud of my teeth now. Everyone at my junior high had braces at one point or another, though most had theirs off by the time we started high school in 10th grade.</p>

<p>I wore them, but now I wear retainers. Remember the warnings about not eating popcorn, chewing gum? At first, I followed those instructions, but couldn't stop myself!</p>
<p>I have em right now, and I won't get em off until the summer...the prom is ruined for me now.....i have to go in freaking braces...i blame my parents for FINALLY deciding in 11th grade that I needed braces...(which i did..)</p>
<p>its kinda funny though, because people seem to be complimenting my teeth a lot.....i dont think there are more than 50 out of the 400 people in my class that havn't been like: "Your teeth are looking way good Neelesh!"....</p>
<p>of course, I DO know pretty much everyone in my class.....and they all know me. :-)
this is probably because of my um...very VERY talkative nature.....I can go to up a random person that I dont know and start a conversation.....</p>
<p>Yes...for a VERY long time now. Since the end of 6th grade. They should be coming off by the end of Senior year.</p>
<p>Orthodontists, I feel, are completely USELESS. So are most doctors, but orthodontists are the worst.</p>
<p>oh, a warning- do wear your retainer. I didn't and had to do invisalign to get my teeth back to where they were after my braces - it sucked and was VERY expensive. My parents were NOT happy.</p>

<p>my parents got my the invisiline thing a couple of years back,i had to wear them almost the whole day, and it was hard to talk in them like braces, i was so happy i didnt have braces becuase i wouldnt be able to eat food that i like:gum taffy etc,</p>

<p>jessetfan you just had your wisdom teeth out? Had that done about a year ago now, one of the more painful experences of my life.</p>
<p>I had braces, but I got them off maybe 4 years ago. It's nice because now I very rarely need to wear my retainer (and then only at night) It's nice to have nice teeth, eh?</p>
