So sad!

my best friend got it... she's in the top 6 out of 495 and got over 2300 on her SAT (she won't tell me exactly what it is).

My D did get it:
GPA 4.33
Rank 1.5%
SAT 1530
Deep extra-curriculars with several leadership positions, including community service
Very strong references from AP teacher in her intended major, as well as non-science teachers
Application essays that caused another scholarship review board to remark that she should publish her writing
Hard to do this without sounding like bragging but it may answer your question - it does not come easy, she has worked very very hard, as all SHC students must just to be there They all deserve to get it.
