Brandeis, BU, or BC?

All of these schools offer great things and I’m having trouble choosing between the 3. I was accepted to them all and plan on majoring in biology, possibly with a focus in neuroscience and also possibly with a pre-med track.

BU offered me a decent amount of need-based financial aid. Brandeis offered me the same amount in merit aid alone along with another $10,000 in other aid. BC has not gotten back to me on financial aid yet, but I’d also need a sufficient amount to attend.

The opportunities at BU are impressive, but I’m not sure how I feel about how spread out the campus is. Brandeis had a very warm feeling and it seemed like there was a genuine connection amongst the population. However, my one concern there is the possible lack of social scene? BC’s campus was beautiful, but I’m not sure how the research opportunities for undergrads are.

Which seems to be the best choice? It’d be helpful to see different perspectives.

Thank you!

Are you Jewish and Catholic?

Neither.

All are well regarded schools. It sounds like you are leaning towards Brandeis. You might want to attend the admitted students’ day at each school for a final viewing and go with the one with the best “feel.” Maybe narrow down to two schools first. Try this: imagine saying no to each school. Which is hardest to let go of? That’s the one you’ve already pretty much chosen!
